SALOMON XA FORCES GTX 2023
Salomon's XA Forces range is based on the time-tested 3D Advanced Chassis™. With its light weight, compact size and civilian look, this low-top option is ideal for everyday use, but will take you through the roughest terrain when needed, providing great protection, comfort and stability.
The Quicklace™ system ensures quick release or tightening of the boot with a single pull. A pocket on the tongue allows you to store the tightening laces so they don't get in the way during your activities.
A tongue firmly connected to the rest of the shoe will prevent dirt from entering.
The upper material is made up of abrasion-resistant and anti-reflective nylon and tough mesh to prevent dirt from getting trapped, combined with polyurethane-coated leather. This forms the basis of the SensiFit™ system, which comfortably encases and protects the foot. It fits like a glove. The polyurethane layer protects the leather and makes it more durable.
This model also features a water-repellent and breathable Gore-Tex membrane to ensure your feet stay dry at all times. A rubberized Protective Rubber Toe Cap takes care of the durable toe cap and protected toe.
The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole is designed for the widest range of surfaces. It provides durability and confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces. An extra added layer of durable material in the outsole prevents sharp objects from penetrating the bottom of the shoe (ISO 20344:2011).
Stability, motion control and optimal cushioning are provided by the combination midsole, which contains 2 foams of different densities, complemented by an Enegrycell layer of EVA foam, which is responsible for shock absorption.
The molded OrthoLite® insole provides comfort, cushioning, breathability and durability to your shoe.
For maximum durability when abseiling, the shoe is equipped with lateral anti-slip protection.

- Perfect shoes, they fit well even if you have a high instep, my size is normally 43 but I have 44 with Salomon, I also have the same ankle boots, maximum satisfaction, my feet don't sweat in the heat, they are breathable
- They could be cheaper :)
