TACTICAL SHOES SALOMON QUEST 4D GTX FORCES 2 EN 2023
Salomon's Forces range features proven civilian models from the French sports and outdoor equipment manufacturer, which have been refined after years of testing in the harshest conditions to meet the demands of armed forces and special forces around the world.
This model replaces its predecessor, the Salomon Quest 4D Forces boots, which has been a favourite among many members of the armed forces, outdoor and military enthusiasts throughout its lifetime.
These are durable and rugged boots for tough terrain, but due to their light weight, sophisticated construction and quality materials, they can also be used for lighter type activities in less demanding terrain.
The new Contagrip® MD outsole ensures protection against punctures, electrostatic discharge and does not slip on oil, soft or rough ground. Massive rubberization on the toe protects the foot from impact and hoofing. The shoe has been certified according to EN European standards as a work shoe.
The foam midsole with EnegryCell technology ensures sufficient shock absorption. Together with the OrthoLite® orthopaedic insole, they take the comfort of the shoe to a higher level even during all-day wear.
The tongue is firmly connected to the construction of the shoe to ensure that no water and dirt can get inside the shoe. More material is used in the tongue connection area than in the first generation. This allows for more stretch in the shoe and a more comfortable slip-on. Narrower full laces ensure better tightening of the shoe and the rest of the laces can be stored in a hidden pocket on the tongue. Thanks to this feature, the boots don't untie as often and you don't have to spend time re-tightening them.
Full Grain leather combined with abrasion-resistant nylon, mesh and GORE-TEX® membrane ensure the boot is durable, long-lasting, waterproof and breathable.
A highlight for members of the armed forces is the protective panel on the inside of the boot, which protects it from abrasion during Fast Rope rappelling.
