The Hawke Vantage 3-9x40, Mil Dot Riflescope is fully waterproof, shockproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. It's designed to withstand tough field conditions.
Variable magnification of 3-9x allows shooting at various distances with high accuracy. The lens has a diameter of 40 mm, ensuring high light gathering, which guarantees a quality image even in low light conditions. The tube is 1" (25.4 mm) in diameter. The lenses are fully multi-coated (11 layers) with an anti-reflective coating, which maximizes image clarity, contrast and reduces glare.
The MilDot crosshair looks like a classic crosshair, where the vertical and horizontal lines intersect the center of the optic. Small dots are placed on these lines at regular intervals. The distance between the centres of each dot corresponds to one milliradian (mil). One mil at 1,000 metres corresponds to a displacement of the projectile of 1 metre on the target. This system allows accurate estimation of the distance to the target if the shooter knows the size of the target. The turrets for elevation and lateral adjustment are lockable. Each click corresponds to 1/4 MOA.
The riflescope is equipped with an AO (Adjustable Objective) that allows precise parallax adjustment from close range to infinity. This ensures a sharp image and minimizes errors caused by parallax when aiming at different distances.
