MFH MONODOM three person TENT VZ. 95

The Monodom is an outdoor military tent designed for three people by the German military equipment specialist MFH. This outdoor tent offers interior dimensions of 210 x 210 cm and a height of approx. 130 cm. When folded, the tent takes up mere 35 x 12 x 12 cm with a total weight of approx. 2 kg including poles. Of course, the tent comes with a transport bag which makes it easier to carry the tent around whilst keeping all the tent components together nicely.

The tent features a simple, straightforward but very reliable single-walled construction that comes with a zippered entrance with a mosquito net. When upright, the tent is ,held together with lightweight, foldable poles made of durable fibreglass. The tent is then secured to the ground using the iron pegs provided and the  guy ropes.

The tent's groundsheet is made of highly durable, non-slip, and waterproof PE fabric. The tent itself is waterproof up to a water column of 1500 mm. It is not exactly a tent suitable for tropical storms or high mountain expeditions, but for our conditions - normal storms and average rainfall - it will provide more than adequate protection against the elements.
