Lightstick is a unique light source which does not need a battery or a fire. It is very light and efficient. Chemical light can be used in order to signal our position in the night hike, likewise to illuminate surroundings, as an alar m sign or as an emergency light source.
To light it up, bend the stick until the vial inside cracks, then shake. A combination of chemical substances using the luminescence produces light of a certain color. This phenomena doesn't produce any heat.
