LEVEL 7 Lightweight Winter Jacket by helikon
The Climashield® Apex™ insulation keeps user warm in any conditions. The LVL7 Jacket can be worn with any lower (as per ECWCS) level layers: Base Layers 1 & 2, fleeces, shells, etc. Insulation is hydrophobic – dries quickly if wet.
Outer Nylon shell protects the insulation from wind and water, while allows breathing. Collar houses the capacious hood, adjustable by drawstrings accesible from chest pockets. The hood pocket is zippered with a two-way zipper. This is important to allow access to the hood without having to doff the heavy gloves.
Soft, fleece lining of the hood enhances the wearing comfort and prevents from abrasions. Two fleece-lined breast pockets protect the hands from frost-bites. Large side pockets zippers allow access even while wearing heavy mittens.
The Level 7 Jacket is easily compressed, without loosing any of its insulation properties. The Level 7 is available in several colors to match the operational terrain – both in the open, and in urban areas.

- Low weight, high calorific value, practical cut with lots of clever catches, well sewn. The manufacturer's experience with tactical clothing is recognizable. Under the jacket, it can be worn discreetly on the belt.
- The double zipper causes problems when closing, rarely it goes the first time. Since I usually don't need to unbuckle my jacket from the bottom to access things on my belt, his presence is no advantage. The chest pocket inside could be higher (but that's a matter of taste).
- Nízká váha, velká výhřevnost, praktický střih se spoustou chytrých vychytáve, kvalitně šitá. Zkušenost výrobce s taktickým oblečením je poznat. Pod bundou se dá na opasku ledaco nenápadně nosit.
- Dvojitý zip dělá problémy při zapínání, málokdy to jde napoprvé. Jelikož zpravidla nepotřebuji odepínat bundu odspodu kvůli přístupu k věcem na opasku, není jeho přítomnost žádná výhoda. Náprsní kapsa uvnitř by mohla být výš (ale to je otázka vkusu).

- It looks good, very high quality and is quite warm (perhaps unnecessarily much for our freezing winters), but for those who do not want to wear another layer of anything between the jacket and T-shirt is ideal ...
- In front and on the sides, the jacket could be a little longer, at least 5 cm ... For those who buy it in such a size that it really suits them and they don't look like intestines in a sleeping bag, the jacket has a length of "chip top" ... Concealed wear weapons (size G17) on the side in a kydex case is quite restrictive in movement, you can, but forget about bending or even raising your arms to a greater height than the door handle ... However, the jacket is very suitable and fits exactly the winter jacket for men they have ...
- Vypadá dobře, velmi kvalitně a je celkem dost teplá (možná až zbytečně moc do našich nemrznoucích zim), ale pro ty co nechtějí nosit další vrstvu čehokoli mezi bundou a tričkem je ideální...

Skryté nošení zbraně (velikosti G17) na boku v kydexovém pouzdrě je celkem dost pohybově omezující, dá se, ale zapomeňte na ohýbání, nebo dokonce zvedání rukou do větší výšky než na kliku od dveří...
- Nicméně je bunda velmi slušivá a plní přesně to zimní bundy pro chlapy májí...
