It is also true that if you grab a 4-5 pound rifle by the barrel and swing it, it will break bones like dry twigs and turn flesh to mush.
The American Indians were well aware of this, so they turned the stocks of their rifles into war clubs.
Cold Steel also has one such war club on offer, called the Gunstock War Club. However, it has abandoned the use of wood in favour of the more durable polypropylene.
As you know, this material is highly impact resistant and virtually impossible to break. This makes it the ideal material for this weapon.
