ProTac 2L-X-USB by Streamlight
The ProTac 2L-X comes with 2 CR123A batteries. Multi-battery versatility means the user can always use primary disposable cells to power the light if the rechargeable cell is out of power and a charging source is not available. It features a tactical tail cap switch for momentary or constant on operation, three different user selectable programs and a pocket clip for convenience. IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes; 1 meter impact resistance tested.

If you are looking for a flashlight that more or less meets the recommendations of the people from Hardtask in the Low Light course, this one will meet the requirements. The rear switch is silent and protected by protrusions. The switch can easily be pressed even with gloves on. Pressing down with your thumb is then worse because of the protection of the button, with other fingers fine. The flashlight can only be switched to high brightness mode or to low and high brightness mode. (ie turn off the strobe). The light cone has an intense central part and a less intense peripheral part.

Pokud hledáte svítilnu která víceméně odpovídá doporučením lidí z Hardtask v kurzu Low Light, tahle požadavky splní. Zadní spínač je tichý, a chráněný výstupky. Spínač je v pohodě možné namáčknout i v rukavicích. Domáčknuti palcem je pak kvůli ochraně tlačítka horší, jinými prsty v pohodě. Baterku je možno přepnout jen do režimu vysoké svítivosti nebo do režimu nízké a vysoké svítivosti. (tzn vypnout stroboskop). Světelný kužel má intenzivní středovou a méně intenzivni okrajovou část.

Dá se použít jak 18650, tak 2*CR123A - svítivost je v obou případech stejná, 18650 má delší výdrž

Má jen pár režimů a i ty je možno vypnout

I compare it with INOVA T - series, which move in the same price range, when INOVA has a remote control intuitive enough with a strong response, the remote protrudes more from the body of the lamp, it can be controlled better in gloves. mm not reaching the maximum, while fully maintaining the functionality of the lamp. I do not recommend this type of lamp for me, certainly not for the needs of the armed forces, despite the fact that I consider the STREAMLIGHT brand to be of very high quality.

- The battery cover must be tightened on blood otherwise the contact and functionality of the lamp is not ensured Controller - poor response (as if one was squeezing mud) - too recessed, very difficult to operate in case of quick switching on and poor touch of the lamp - remote control even harder to operate, driver modes quite non-intuitive are switched only by half-pressing - finding the 3rd mode with low power is rather random (1st mode high luminosity, 2nd strobe, 3rd low luminosity)

Porovnávám s INOVA T - series, které se pohybují ve stejné cenové relaci, kdy INOVA má ovladač dostatečně intuitivní se silnou odezvou, ovladač více vyčnívá z těla svítilny, lze jej lépe ovládat v rukavicích
Při porovnávání dotažení víčka baterie, tak INOVA umožňuje 5-6 mm nedotažení do maxima, při plném zachování funkčnosti svítilny.
Za mě tento typ svítilny nedoporučuji, určitě ne pro potřeby ozbrojených sborů a to i přes to, že značku STREAMLIGHT považuji za velice kvalitní.

- příliš zapuštěný, v případě potřeby rychlého zapnutí a špatného nahmátnutí svítilny velice obtížně ovladatelný

- módy ovladače dosti neintuitivní přepínají se jen polostiskem
- - nalezení 3. módu s nízkým výkonem je spíše náhodné (1. mód vysoká svítivost, 2. stroboskop, 3. nízká svítivost)
