Durable Magpul DAKA® Hard Case, R44

The Magpul DAKA® Hard Case is one of the truly durable transport cases for your gun. Many similar cases have a number of shortcomings, but Magpul has learned its lesson and created a rugged, reliable and extremely durable case for transporting and storing guns and accessories. It is designed primarily for storing mid-length rifles and accessories.

This case is also very easy to use and offers many useful and advanced features such as improved latches, recessed lock covers, reliable and durable casters for easy transport and an ergonomic handle.

INTERIOR

The interior of the trunk is equipped with the innovative DAKA GRID organiser. This organiser consists of end and central panels made of expanded polypropylene, which are placed at the bottom of the trunk. It is also composed of DAKA Blocks cubes, which are used to fix weapons and accessories to prevent them from moving on their own. DAKA Blocks cubes can be customized in the case, eliminating the need to cut out foam. No matter what weapon you put in the case, you can customize the padding to fit.

The case contains a total of sixteen DAKA Blocks: eight with three blocks and eight with two blocks. These blocks do not absorb moisture and dirt, are lightweight and very strong at the same time. In addition, their eventual maintenance is very easy.

MAXIMUM DURABILITY

The suitcase's durability is ensured by the buffer zones in the rounded corners of the suitcase, which absorb most of the impact energy. Magpul guarantees strength and durability thanks to its injection moulded polypropylene technology, which ensures that the material can withstand even the toughest conditions.

LATCHES AND LOCKS

The DAKA case features a unique latch and latch design. The latches offer ease of use and durability, plus they feature an easy-to-use safety catch. You will appreciate this in case of frozen hands or when working with gloves on. The latch opens when pressed and stays in the open position, allowing it to be used as a handle to open the lid. When closing, the latch automatically locks with a distinct click.

The latches are also equipped with a passage for a lock with a maximum diameter of 8 mm, allowing the case to be secured against unauthorised entry. The latch covers can be secured with tightening tape so that they are fixed and will not be damaged during transport.

CASE CLAWS

The suitcase has two sturdy handles that are easy to hold and allow easy handling even with a full suitcase. The suitcase can be carried horizontally or vertically. On the side of the wheels there is a practical space for your hand when carrying the suitcase, for example when placing it in the vehicle. The handles are recessed into the frame of the suitcase, which keeps its profile the same.

TRANSPORT WHEELS

The wheels are durable and large enough to make transporting the case as easy as possible. They are quiet, smooth running and long lasting. Thanks to the reinforced polymer hub, the ball bearings used and the rubber lining, it is very difficult for dirt to get into the transport castors. The wheels are very quiet and have low friction.

SIZE

The Magpul Daka Hard Case model R44 is the bigger sibling of the C35.  Its external dimensions are 121,9 x 50 x 16,5 cm and internal dimensions are 112,4 x 43,2 x 14 cm. The case can hold up to two standard 16" rifles along with other accessories such as ammunition, bipods, optical sights and more. The total volume of the case is 53.5 litres.
